Introduction to membrane structures used in railway station platforms and concourses!

This time, we will introduce the membrane structures used in railway facilities such as station buildings, concourses, and smoke curtains!

The membrane structure roof has high light transmittance, is difficult to penetrate ultraviolet rays, and has the property of reflecting heat, making it less likely to accumulate heat. During the hot summer months, metal roofs absorb heat when exposed to sunlight, forcing people to endure the heat underneath the roof, but the membrane structure is different! An experiment comparing the temperature under a metal roof and under a membrane structure at a certain station platform showed that the temperature was 2 to 3 degrees lower under the membrane structure than under the metal roof. I experienced it myself, and even a difference of 2 to 3 degrees felt significantly cooler! For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Transforming school facilities into comfortable spaces with membrane structures and membrane ceilings.

Using a lightweight and highly flexible membrane, we can transform school facilities into disaster-resistant, safe, and comfortable spaces! It is also effective as a shelter during disasters!

By using membrane materials for the roofs and ceilings of all-weather sports fields, pools, libraries, and other school facilities, it is possible to create disaster-resistant and aesthetically pleasing spaces. **Advantages of Membrane Structures** (for roofs of gymnasiums, pools, etc.) - Lightweight and flexible, reducing the load on structural elements during earthquakes. - Does not shatter like glass. - Easily allows light in, reducing lighting costs. - The surface is resistant to dirt and easy to maintain. **Advantages of Membrane Ceilings** (for indoor sports fields, pools, libraries, halls, etc.) - Uses specialized fittings for membrane ceilings, achieving a lightweight ceiling structure with a mass of 2 kg/m² or less. - Easy connection with hanging materials and membrane materials, ensuring excellent constructability. **Advantages of Fail-Safe Nets** (for ceilings of indoor pools, auditoriums, etc.) - Uses specialized nets made from flame-retardant high-strength fibers for ceiling fall prevention. - The tensile strength of the net is uniform and also excels in design. - The thin diameter of the net minimizes the impact on the design, acoustic performance, and thermal insulation of existing ceilings. *Examples of completed projects are available. For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Membrane structures, membrane ceilings, tent warehouses [*Case study collection available*]

Create a bright space using "membrane" for roofs and ceilings! Achieve a unique design along with excellent seismic resistance.

We will introduce examples of construction, along with photos, of stadiums and gymnasiums that create a light and bright large space, as well as theaters and concert halls that can express unique indoor and outdoor spaces. Due to their excellent earthquake resistance and fire resistance, they are also adopted in public transportation facilities such as stations and airports, as well as in shopping centers and factories. 【Advantages of Membrane Structures】 ◆ Lightweight and flexible, reducing the burden on structural bodies during earthquakes ◆ Allows for large column-free spaces and unique shapes ◆ Easily captures light, reducing lighting costs ◆ The surface is resistant to dirt and easy to maintain 【Advantages of Membrane Ceilings】 ◆ Uses dedicated hardware for membrane ceilings, achieving a weight of 2 kg/m² or less for ceiling components ◆ Easy connection with hanging materials and membrane materials, ensuring excellent constructability 【Advantages of Fail-Safe Nets】 ◆ Uses dedicated nets made of flame-retardant high-strength fibers for ceiling drop prevention ◆ The tensile strength of the net is uniform and also excels in design ◆ The thin diameter of the net minimizes the impact on the design, acoustic performance, and thermal insulation performance of existing ceilings *Examples of membrane structure facilities are included.
